Creation of a transitional product for office spaces, EnsAD, 2017/2018
In a hot desking office, employees have to adapt to the place and its implicit rules. The space is no longer used in permanent way. This new use generates sterile working spaces, valuing efficiency over appropriation by its users. ‘Métzitou’ mobile office shelving unit is a personal furniture for workers. They can use it to shape the office space as it is mobile. They can also display personal belongings. The furniture becomes a tool to spread their identity over the sterile working environment.
